The registration process will be a few less steps if you have your 2008 USMS card handy or if you know your current USMS membership number. So, before you begin, find your card. If you do have your card and/or cannot find it, no worries – you can look up your number during the registration process. Let’s begin…

1. Open up your web browser and go to the USMS website (link above).
2. On the homepage there are 3 different places that you can click to join/renew. I am attaching a pdf snapshot of the homepage and have outlined in red the 3 places.
3. If you need to look up your registration number or get a copy of your current card, you can do that now.
4. Enter your zip code
5. Select Register Online Now
6. A new webpage will open
7. Follow the prompts to complete the registration process
8. If you are already registered, the club you are currently affiliated with will be selected for you. You can change your club affiliation if you so desire. (NOTE: those of you who are registered with Elkhorn Aquatics cannot complete the on-line registration at this time. Please check with your coach. As soon as the club has completed the Club registration process with USMS you will be allowed to register on-line.)
9. You can select to print your card yourself or to have a copy mailed to you.
10. The registration fee for 2009 is $35.00 (This fee if for your USMS registration only. It does not include any extra fees that your club may charge).
11. You will receive an almost immediate reply acknowledging your registration. You will also receive a reply with more information about USMS and our local LMSC (Nebraska Masters LMSC – not to be confused with the Nebraska Masters swim club).
